Nutritional Detox Tuesday Update (on Wednesday!)

I am in my 3rd and final week of the Standard Process Nutritional Detox. I added exercise to my regimen last Tuesday. I am doing both cardio and weight work. Cardio is 3-4 times a week and weight work is 2 times a week. Both at least a half hour at a time. I will admit that the Elliptical Machine really whipped me but when I got on a similar machine yesterday I did WAY better. I also think I found that elusive “thing” called metabolism that I thought I had lost forever.

I still have healthy eating habits (I don’t want to call it a diet because I am changing my unhealthy lifestyle to a healthier one) and do my smoothies 3 times a day along with supplements.


Drum roll please………I am 1 lb away from an amazing 15 lb weight loss!

The best part is, like I’ve said before, that I feel and look amazing (skin cleared up and is luminous) and I have not felt like I was starving.

Dr. Kristin and I have decided to keep on this plan with the smoothies, Gastro-fiber supplements and the Green Food supplements. This is what is helping us keep the good stuff in and the bad stuff out. I will continue my better eating habits and start incorporating moderation with “regular” foods (like when you go out to eat and desserts). I want this to be a life transformation and it has to be realistic. The nutritional detox has given me the jump start and the motivation that I had been lacking. For this I am very grateful.
